Location: Dorset
For this shoot in particular, I have taken advantage of the location, Dorset. Being in the countryside with sunny weather adds to the effect of a typical scenic background you'd imagine. I feel this shoot was a success, with the use of natural light I have captured some effected shadowing.
WWW - I think the way I have used natural light, shows a sense of realism. THe bright colours reflects this weather as a whole. I intended to show this location as tranquil and airy, with an utmost chilled atmosphere. I feel the 2nd and 3rd photographs were successful as the shadows features in them are clear and the angle at which I have taken them, make them stand out. I like the photograph I have taken of the pink flowers, as the sun shining on them reminds me of hope, blissfulness and serenity. I feel like I could of experimented with a few of this pictures on Photoshop as they are not exactly exciting and typically associated with sunshine. Overall, I feel this shoot went well, but I feel I could of been more practical.
EBI - If I was to do this shoot again, I would like to try taking photographs of things associated with sunshine and the way people react to sunshine; for example their change of clothing, accessories, for instance sunglasses, sun cream, swimwear and their emotions towards this weather, happy and jolly. I feel like my sunshine shoot could of been more successful if I went to a coastal location, as this would of been a much more suited setting of a typical sunny day at the seaside. This would of been more effective for my shoot as the beach is a popular place to go to when the weather is bright. I could of captured moments at the beach that occur when the weather is sunny, i.e. queuing up at an ice-cream van for an ice-lolly, a bag of fish and chips, fairground rides and crabbing.
