Location: Studio
For this shoot, I was inspired by a music video "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter. The video is focused around and man and women that add graffiti to the same wall, separately, on each day. The wall features an advertisement of a girl sitting on a bench and the women draws a cloud, with the weather rain above the girl and the man draws an umbrella above her to cover her from the pouring rain. This inspired me to incorporate different elements of weather in the studio, interpreting the idea of drawing on something to show weather. I did this by drawing on a white board with typical colours that were realistic to the idea.
WWW - I feel this shoot was good because I was inspired by something I had watched and felt that my recreation of it was an okay example of this. I intended to create a happy side of rain by drawing the weather on. This shoot had a fun element to it as it was an unrealistic attempt to portray weather, as if it was a cartoon.
EBI - If I was to repeat this shoot, I would use more of my imagination to create a story to make it more so interesting. I feel like I should of used bolder pens to draw on the whiteboard to make my drawings stand out more. On the other hand, I feel like I could of experimented with some photoshop techniques in order to edit the saturation of some of my images and enhance them, to make them more vibrant. Furthermore I feel that using a whiteboard to create these images has worked but I feel like I need to focus on the lighting more as I need to be careful of the reflections of them on the whiteboard.
